Dolores and Jenn, Thank you for the info. I will look for memento in the mean time I found a permanent ink at Art Glitter Institute. Label says Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter. I dry it with heat tool and so far it is working for me.
Jenn I printed out digis and colored without smears. I use hp ink jets I think. So far so good.
I also had help from my son on how to shrink those oversized digis. I must have printed a ton.

We stopped this weekend in Phoenix area to take a copic coloring class from Jenn Dove at The Craft Retreat. What a great time. My color blending improve with a different paper by Hammermill. What a difference from what I was using.
BTW If you are in the Glendale area The Craft Retreat has different items for stampers and a large supply of Tim Holtz products.

Just got back from seeing the surgeon who did the partial hip replacement. Staples out next week. Trip to Sedona okayed, then hubby and I had dinner out at Mi Ranchito. Good day good evening. Life is good.

On October 6th I fell and had to have a partial hip replacement. I was at rehab from the 9th till about the 25th. I am now at home and recovering. My card making is limited at the present time. However I have tons of cards ready for the holidays.
I participated at the Harvest Craft Festival in Costa Mesa at Piecemakers. Everything was a bargin as I really wanted to downsize my inventory. The Festival was for one day and I was pleased with the amount of down sizing.
I am enjoying my recovery time with exercises, company of my hubby and dog, sitting on the patio, walking thru the house and taking time for me.

Cards Boxes cased from Gina K Designs

Gina K Designs had a tutorial on her stamp TV and I cased and altered them for my purposes. I have two uses for them. The first is to store my cards in them and each box has it's own theme i.e. Christmas, mom. wedding, etc. The second is created for those who would like an assortment of cards to have on hand. Each box contains 30 cards for you to have on your desk at work or at home. They take up little space and your friends and coworkers can peruse the contents and buy a card or two or three. The price of the cards are $2.00. However if you feel the need you could increase the price as long as my fee is covered.

Copic Class was fun and lots of ideas. I colored my hand braces with copic marker. How fun is that. And airbru$hing. Now for $hopping for more copic marker$.

We came down and day early and will stay a day late. Had belated Mother's Day dinner last night at Ruth's Chris Steak House. It was my first time and the food was terrific considering it would be our last meal before the world ended and then we got the bill.

While I was at class Craig toured the SD area. He had such a fun day he forgot his ppain. yeah.

Where has the time gone?

It is difficult to trace back in time and much better to keep up to date. However, the end of January we left on a 14 day cruise to Hawaii. I had never been and we got to stop at each island. Nice trip and I took more scrapping supplies than clothes. The ship had and ocean view writing room with desks that looked out over the ocean so I worked there.

Within days of arriving home I had basal joint surgery. A bone is removed from the base of my thumb and replaced with a tendon. I chose to do my right hand first, four weeks in a cast, four weeks with a splint, no driving, some crafts and occupational therapy.

Funny, my pain meds reacted with my anti depression meds so I had 'super' mood swings. During this same time we lost a dear friend, and our dog on the same day. We acquired a new rescue pooch my hubby refers to as Holy Terrier. She lived in a vets office for a year, sooooo she was scared of everything, the tv, shadows, men, noises, etc. We are working to make her life better without compromising ours.

Back to the new normal now and getting ready to take a copic class this weekend in San Diego. I have also developed an interest in clip art for card making.

To those of you looking at my site for the first time I do sell my items and do take special orders either in cards or scrapbooks.

Oh , oh I used my cricut to put circles on the top of my white vw. The back has samples of my cards and a scrapbook page along with my blog site. It is such a fun car to drive. Please leave a message so I know my viewers.

Didn't realize it had been so long since I posted. I've ben waiting for a nice check to order supplies and it finally arrived. (The check was NOT from a customer rather an ira account) I was beginning to think they couldn't find any money. However it created such havoc I am planning on moving the rest to a different company.

I was vendor at a Harvest Festival and had soooo much fun. I will have to post pics later.

I have a number of orders going and my desk is a disaster. More later.

Again I used various scraps to die cut the butterflies, flowers, and background. The purple butterfly has three layers of butterflies, two in lavender and the one in purple that is sandwich between the lavender ones.

When packing the car the back seat is reserved for arts and crafts. Small bag with clothes is in the trunk and away we go. First day out exercise is hauling everything in back seat up the stairs. It is fun to use just what I brought, thinking I forgot something and discovering something else here in my stash will do.

Using up all the scraps that I brought along. Fun fun fun cause I hear the trees saying please don't cut me down to make more paper until you use all your scraps. My definition of a scrap is smaller than 1 x 3.

I did through a handful of scraps away and the trees are still talking to me. Gosh you would think it is a mortal sin.

Shopping tomorrow for paint cans, jelly bellies, m&m'S, using gift card at target, and playing with new stamp set that arrive before I left. Well actually we didn't leave until it arrived.

First silver card is scraps of wedding paper with ribbon on the seam line and added die cut flower. 2nd card is also wedding paper with narrow strips of silver added at random and die cut butterfly. 3rd card is a stampin up stamp with dazzles lining the edges, added ribbon circle and black bling circle. And last but not least is my first tri-fold shutter card which I chose to do in black and white, adding die cut and embossed designs.

I have cards to photo and post however that will wait until the morrow. I move from silver to black and white card making. Love the crispness of that combination.

Then perused scs and saw something to case, but first I had to make a tri fold card. Again it in a black and white theme with layers of black and white. Look for it tomorrow.

I saw a art wall in a professional building. The background was silver with silver strips floor to ceiling at different angles. And so this card was created with a butterfly added.
